Katrina Kaif has now officially replaced Aishwarya Rai as the glam-doll of Bollywood. Nakshatra jewelers have now shifted their loyalties from Ash to Katrina. They chose Katrina over other contenders i.e. Kareena Kapoor and Deepika Padukone. Surprisingly she was signed for a much higher price than what Ash got. Guess 24 year-old Katrina Kaif looks more promising than 34 year old Aishwarya Rai.

The undisputed queen of Bollywood, Kareena Kapoor after hitting the jackpot with her blockbuster movie Jab We Met is going places these days and this time her stars are taking her to Hollywood.

The stylish babe recently impressed the Rambo of Hollywood, Sylvester Stallone while she was filming Sajid Nadiadwala’s, Kambakth Ishq.

After her short meeting with Stallone, Kareena was suddenly the buzz of Hollywood as agents dropped in on the set to enquire about the ‘Jab We Met’ star.

When Kareena was quizzed about Hollywood she said, “It’s the right time for Bollywood with so many avenues and doors opening up on a global scale. The possibilities are immense. I’m just keeping my fingers crossed.”

Well guys who do you wanna see Kareena romance in Hollywood? I guess she will look good with Johnny Depp or Brad Pitt.

Living up to its hype, the Amitabh Bachchan-led Unforgettable Tour opened to an unprecedented response in Toronto, Canada. Delhi girl Shweta Bhardwaj, who has been tagged as the 'desi Lara Croft' because of her action scenes in Mission Istanbul, says she is obsessed with Aishwarya Rai.

"I am obsessed with her and was very sad to know that she got married," said the 21-year-old, adding "If I would have been a boy, I would have definitely married her."

"I envy Abhishek because he has married Aishwarya. I would have said the same thing if she would have married anyone else," Shweta, who debuts with Mission Istanbul, said.

Shweta says she did not have to struggle much to get the role in director Apoorva Lakhia's macho film "Mission Istanbul" that deals with global terrorism.

"My Nivea ad worked for me. Suniel Shetty (who is producing the film) saw me in the ad and called me for audition. I went through the normal audition process and after a few days I came to know through an SMS that I was selected for the role."

Shweta teams up with Vivek Oberoi, Zayed Khan, Suneil and others in the film and says her role is different from others.

"Normally, in a Hindi film a girl is not seen to perform stunts and action, but I have done all that for the film. Besides, I have a bit of romance and a song is also picturised on me. So I got to do everything in the film," said Shweta who plays Lisa Lobo in the action thriller that was shot in Istanbul.

"Lisa Lobo is very interesting character in the film. She plays cross with Zayed and Nikitin Dheer. Zayed is playing a positive role and Nikitin is the bad guy. I am in between the two because of a mission," said Shweta who is all praises for the director.

"Apoorva is the best guy in town. He helped me to understand the character so well. He used to always tell me that I should always have the character of Lara Croft in mind and behave like her. In every scene, he would tell me to think how Lara would behave in such a situation," said Shweta.

She says her favourite Hollywood actress is Angelina Jolie, who played the athletic character of Lara Croft in Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life.

Shweta had not taken any formal training in martial arts. She was trained on the sets by the action directors Javed-Aejaz. She hopes once the film releases, people start recognising her for her performance.

"Right now, people do not recognise me much, only a few say this is the Nivea girl. But, once Mission Istanbul releases, I hope that people recognise me better," said Shweta who always aspired to be an actor.

I am also doing Blue with him and I have done a lot of underwater action in the film,” says Katrina.

She certainly seems to be all over the place, be it her IPL presence or being voted sexiest woman of the year. “I take success with a pinch of salt and it keeps me grounded. I am concentrating on my work now. I want to do more and more films. Luckily, the audience has accepted me and liked my films. That’s more important to me than anything else,” says Katrina, who is excited about working with Ranbir Kapoor and John Abraham soon.

“It’s going to be exciting to work with Ranbir in Raj Kumar Santoshi’s film because this is the first time I will be working with someone of my age. I am also looking forward to working with John and Neil Nitin Mukesh in Yash Raj Films soon,” says the actress, who’s working with all the hunks in Bollywood, be it Salman, John, Akshay or Ranbir.

Saregama India Ltd has announced the launch of the music of KHELA, the film directed by well acclaimed director Rituparno Ghosh. Ghosh has contributed to serious cinema through some significant hits like DAHAN, UTSAB, CHOKHER BALI, ASHUK, BARIVALI, ANTARMAHAL, RAINCOAT and LAST LEAR. The music of the movie will be released on June 28 while the movie is scheduled to hit the theatres on July 11 2008 nation wide in Hindi and in Bengali in West Bengal.

KHELA is about an idealistic director's quench to make a film with a boy who he thinks is jut perfect for the role. The film also deals with relationships and emotions but with a twist by adding up humor, adventure and edge-of-the-seat mystery. Rituparno Ghosh's previous movies dealt with intense relationship web and serious emotions. Rituparno has always chosen indoor locations to shoot his previous films, however with KHELA; he has explored shooting outdoors. KHELA is Manisha Koirala's first film with Rituparno Ghosh and her debut in Bengali films.

The music of the film is composed by a band from Kolkata called 21 Grams. Prosenjit, Manisha Koirala, and Raima Sen are the lead performers in the film.
