Chiranjeevi apologised to Dr. Rajasekhar for the attack. “In a democracy everybody has a right to speak. What Dr. Rajasekhar said was true as I am inexperienced in politics. You should not resort to such attacks especially when you say I am a disciplined person,” he said in a message to his fans.
Dr. Rajasekhar said it was not his intent to make the megastar come to his house. He only wanted a message to be sent to Chiranjeevi’s fans that such violent reaction was not proper. He said he would seek police protection for his family.
A steady stream of political leaders and bigwigs of the film industry called on Dr. Rajasekhar. They included Marketing Minister Botsa Satyanarayana, Greater Hyderabad Congress president Danam Nagender and MLC P. Sudhakar Reddy. Actor MP M.
